Welcome to the digital home of KIDA, which is as simple as we are. KIDA is a social and educational development agency for high school learners.
Simply put, KIDA is a social and educational development agency whose primary objective is to eliminate the socio-economic factors which disadvantage and limit the educational progress of learners across the breadth and length of the country. It is our mandate to partner with learners whenever educational progress is delayed by socio-economic limitations.
The main objective of the organization is to raise funds from ordinary members of the community and channel these funds towards assisting disadvantaged learners in their educational endeavours. Members of the organization may contribute monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, annually or whenever they can.
The organisation renders the following core services:
1. Financing of additional textbooks and relevant educational resources to needy learners.
2. Financing of tertiary admission application fees for needy high school students.
3. Assisting learners with online tertiary admission and NSFAS applications.
4. Collaborating with schools, mentoring and tutoring organisations in educational initiatives.
